DISCREET PLACEMENT OF SIGNIFICANT WORKS OF ART
Kodner Gallery specializes in the private placement of significant works of art with qualified collectors, institutions, and advisors. For more than five decades, we have guided collectors, estates, and families through confidential private treaty sales — prioritizing discretion, scholarship, and long-term value.
Collectors often contact us after encountering a previously placed work or inquiring about future opportunities within a specific artist's market. Our longstanding relationships with collectors, advisors, and institutions allow us to make placements that respect both the artwork and the long-term goals of those involved.
Clients prefer a private sale when they want to maintain confidentiality, avoid overexposure, reduce commissions and premiums, protect a work's reputation, or take a long-view, strategic approach.
Many of the works we handle are never publicly offered. Our role is to ensure that each artwork is thoughtfully placed, properly represented, and handled with care and discretion. If you own a similar work, we would be pleased to advise you.
