BiographySusan Prince Barron is a St. Louis-based artist who lives and works in the region. She studied Fine Arts and Color Theory at New England College in New Hampshire, and continued her education in Fine Arts and Art History at University of Missouri. Through these studies, she developed a strong foundation in both technique and theory, ultimately choosing watercolor pencil as her primary medium. Her work centers on the relationship between color and light—how hues interact, balance, and transform within illuminated space. Susan’s drawings evoke an ethereal quality, blending color, movement, and human presence. Her compositions often feel atmospheric and luminous, inviting viewers into a quiet, reflective experience.
