Bold, rhythmic, and unmistakably her own, Sunday Musicians, Bop, Strut, Hoot is a vibrant meditation on music, community, and the human form. Across a warm field of golds and ochres, America Martin assembles a band of stylized figures — faces in profile and full view, a horn lifted, a guitar at rest — each held in confident cobalt line and planes of luminous, muted color.
